Most musicians don't talk about the hard part.

They show you the finished song, the confident performance. What you don't see is the years where nothing gets finished because nothing feels ready.

I stopped making music for about a decade. Not dramatically I'd still pick up a guitar but I stopped recording, stopped finishing things, stopped sharing. Perfectionism is a good hiding place.

In late 2025, I started again. This site is where I'm working it out in the open, the songs, but also the process, the gear experiments, the psychology of actually showing up. If you make music and struggle with the same stuff, some of this might be useful.

I'm not trying to be a rock star. I'm trying to be the person I needed when I was younger.
