Broken Pen: rough take
A rough take of Broken Pen, posted before it has earned the right to sound finished.
This is a rough take of broken pen. I recorded this just as a tracking version. So not as a performance, just trying to get the structure. So it doesn't have half of the flourishes I would put in if I were actually performing this live even as a straight up solo performance.
I was doing this thinking about what piano would go in the middle, what kind of front part I would put over the top of it. But I realised after I'd done it that it's a capture and it's something that I want to share. I want to start sharing what I'm doing. And I really need to get over my fear of doing that. And I need to get over my perfectionism.
So I'm publishing this as is. Hopefully I'll be able to link this through to a more complete, better version later.
