Broken Pen: rough take

This is a rough take of Broken Pen.

I recorded it mainly as a tracking pass: something to play against later, with room for drums, piano, and whatever else the song turns out to need. In the old version of my brain that would mean it should stay private until it had been cleaned up properly.

But the main skill I need to get better at is not adding one more part. It is shipping imperfect work.

So here it is. A rough take, posted because it exists, because I made it today, and because I am trying to get better at letting the work be seen while it is still warm.

I am proud of that, even if the take is not finished.
